Buttle Area Update

Gerry Roberts sends this note on Strathcona Park conditions regarding a couple of the Highway 28 trails:

"The road into the Kings Peak trail head is still covered by deep snow and has not been checked for windfalls yet. When I checked on Friday the glacier was deeply covered and had massive cornice threats from above.

Parking lots still snowed in at Crest Crags and the Elk River trail with possible parking at Lady Falls."
