Annual General Meeting

Strathcona Wilderness Institute director Brenda sends the following notice about the SWI Annual General Meeting:

Would you like to learn more about the Strathcona Wilderness Institute? Would you like to meet some great people including Lindsay Elms, (an accomplished climber and writer) who will be available for booksigning of his latest fascinating historical mountaineering book called "Above The Bush" - "A Century of Climbing on Vancouver Island 1912-2012"? Then be sure to put TUES, JUNE 5 at 7 p.m. on your calendar.

The 17th Annual General Meeting of the STRATHCONA WILDERNESS INSTITUTE will be held at the Lewis Recreational Centre in Courtenay at 7:p.m. in the Meeting Room.

As a non-profit organization, the SWI Board of Directors will be pleased to answer questions about Strathcona Park and their summer programs at the Strathcona Park Wilderness Centre at Paradise Meadows and at the Information Centre at Buttle Lake.

We are always looking for new members, volunteers, new ideas, and new skills! Fundraising skills, event planning, communications experience, park and trail knowledge, and building services (repairs and renovations) are always welcome!
